Ein fröhliches Weihnachtslied – für all die Liebe in der Welt….
Ich habe euch noch eine kleine Überraschung zu Weihnachten versprochen. Nun sind es doch zwei Überraschungen – oder vielleicht drei?
Es ist der 18. Dezember 2022 – oder: der vierte Advent. Draußen ist es bitterkalt. Die Menschen sind in Weihnachtsstimmung (also besoffen).
Sanft die Rehlein das Näschen rümpfen … es ist Zeit für ein Weihnachtslied …
Also setzte ich mich ins Studio und begann mit der Komposition eines Weihnachtsliedes.
Hört ihr die Glöckchen klingeln? Seht ihr den Weihnachtsschlitten mit den Geschenken? Hört ihr die Streicher zum Weihnachtslied einstimmen? Spürt dir die vereinzelten Schneeflöckchen, welche sich auf eurem Haar niederlassen? Hört ihr das Samurai-Schwert, welches gerade „Rudolf das Rentier“ zerteilt? Seht ihr, wie sei rotes Näschen in den Schnee kullert ..
Also: Es wurde mal ein anderes Weihnachtslied!

Emil hat mich aufgefordert, mal ein Weihnachtslied zu schreiben und auf Facebook zu schauen wieso die Resonanz ist. Ich war erst gar nicht davon angetan – dann hat das Projekt allerdings eine Eigendynamik bekommen und jetzt danke ich Emil dafür. So richtig schmalzig ist das Weihnachtslied nicht geworden… Dafür sorgen wir schon einige elektrische Gitarren und der fette Beat. Ganz in der Manier vom „Time-Hunter“ zeigt der Song eine Vielfalt von Emotionen.
Finde den Song bei euren beliebtesten Portalen wie Spotify oder Apple Music . Einfach nach „Time-Hunter“ suchen.

A Merry Christmas Carol – for all the love in the world…
I promised you a little surprise for Christmas. Well, there are two surprises – or maybe three?
It’s December 18, 2022 – or: the fourth Advent. It’s bitterly cold outside. People are in the Christmas spirit (that is, drunk).
Gently the little deer wrinkle their noses… it’s time for a Christmas carol…
So I sat down in the studio and started composing a Christmas carol.
Do you hear the bells ringing? Do you see the Christmas sleigh with the presents? Can you hear the strings singing along to the Christmas carol? Do you feel the isolated snowflakes that settle on your hair? Do you hear the samurai sword that is cutting up „Rudolf the Reindeer“? Do you see how his red nose rolls in the snow ..
So: It became a different Christmas carol!

Emil asked me to write a Christmas carol and see what the response was on Facebook. I wasn’t impressed at first – but then the project took on a momentum of its own and now I thank Emil for that. The Christmas carol didn’t turn out to be really corny… We take care of that with some electric guitars and the fat beat. In the manner of „Time-Hunter“ the song shows a variety of emotions.
